Before starting our family, we felt a profound and unmistakable calling from God to adopt.

This conviction led us to attend an adoption conference, where an unexpected moment set the stage for our future. During the event, Robin won a book in a raffle titled Chosen for Greatness by Paul J. Batura. One chapter particularly stood out to her—a story about “Snowflake” embryo adoption. Though its significance was not clear at the time, Robin sensed it might one day be part of our journey.

A few years later, after navigating the adoption process and waiting anxiously for that life-changing phone call, we experienced a miracle: the adoption of our first daughter, Daisy, through an open, private, local adoption. She was just a month old when she became part of our family. Holding her in our arms for the first time was a moment of indescribable joy.

As time went on, we began exploring why we had not experienced a pregnancy. This brought us to a pivotal decision point. Robin recalled the Snowflake story from the book she had won years earlier. The idea of embryo adoption resurfaced, and after much prayer and heartfelt discussions, we felt a profound peace about pursuing this path.

The journey began with a simple email to Snowflakes, an organization specializing in embryo adoption.

From that point forward, we experienced God’s guiding presence every step of the way. Thanks to the remarkable generosity of another family, we were able to adopt embryos. In April 2023, we transferred two embryos, and for the first time ever, Robin became pregnant—with twins!

On January 2024, we joyfully welcomed Stevey and Rex into the world, a beautiful baby girl and boy. Their arrival was not without challenges. At birth, Stevey faced serious difficulties and spent 10 days in the NICU. We discovered that she had gone 13 minutes without adequate oxygen, raising concerns about potential brain damage. Once again, God’s miraculous power was evident. Against all odds, Stevey made a full recovery, thriving into a completely healthy baby girl. Nurses and doctors marveled at her progress, calling her a true miracle.

Today, both Rex and Stevey are joyful, energetic, and thriving. They share a deep bond with their big sister, Daisy, eagerly following her every move. Witnessing their laughter and love fills our hearts with immeasurable gratitude.

We thank God daily for the incredible blessing of adoption—both through private adoption and embryo adoption with Snowflakes. Our journey stands as a testament to God’s faithfulness and the miracles He continues to work in our lives.

To anyone considering adoption in any form, we hope our story inspires you to take that leap of faith. You never know what beautiful miracles might be waiting just around the corner.
