For the past four years, the Embryo Adoption Awareness Center has diligently worked to offer educational webinars in order to provide first-rate training for the entire embryo donation and adoption community. In an effort to continue providing important and interesting educational opportunities, the EAAC is proud to announce a new, two-part webinar series focusing on the Secrecy in Adoption.
Join us starting this Wednesday, January 15 join us for “The Science of Secrecy Part 1,” a webinar introducing and examining the attachment issues commonly faced by adopted children, including those joining a family through embryo adoption. Our expert presenters Ms. Kris Probasco, LCSW, LSCSW and Thomas Rector, BioSocial Cognition are set to present their research and conclusions regarding how attachment trauma affects the development of the human brain.
In February, the EAAC is excited to announce “The Science of Secrecy Part 2,” a follow-up webinar again featuring Mr. Rector. This webinar will take examine his findings on attachment trauma to an even deeper level while also presenting the best steps to take while sharing a child’s genetic origins with them.
