It is hard to believe that it has already been a year since “the world’s oldest baby” was born!
On July 26, 2025, Tim and Lindsey welcomed their son, Thaddeus, into the world. Thaddeus was adopted as an embryo through the Snowflakes Embryo Adoption Program. He was created and frozen over 30 years ago! His story captured the hearts of many, and spread across the globe with many news stories featuring this miraculous baby boy, and the unique way that he came to be.
At now 12 months old, Thaddeus is growing into a mobile baby on the verge of a curious toddler with a strong love for his dad, tacos, and learning. Lindsey provided an update on how he is doing to the Snowflakes Embryo Adoption Program:
“I cannot wrap my mind around the idea that Thaddeus is a year old! Those first few weeks I would whisper to Tim with tears in my eyes, ‘We have a baby.’
“Fast forward to now, we are in the thick of crawling and moving forward to walking! Thaddeus is curious on how things work. One example is flipping the push walker over so he can see where the screws go. Thaddeus also enjoys books, which makes my teacher heart so happy! He already has a few he consistently brings us to read, and we sometimes read it many more times after that. The majority of everything is “Dada”, unless he is sad then he wants his “Mama”. Thaddeus enjoys sinking his teeth into his food, his favorite being tacos. He loves playing with his big cousins and watching them run. They love making him laugh in return!
We cannot picture life without our little red headed boy! His life brings us so much joy! Life is definitely an adventure with him around!”
